COURSE PREREQUISITES
|
PADI Open Water
Diver certification, Junior Open Water Diver certification or equivalent.
Minimum of 12 years old. Students may be required to provide Dive Log
Book detailing dive experience.
SKILLS
|
The PADI Underwater Videographer Specialty
course introduces you to underwater video equipment and videography
fundamentals, such as exposure, focus, shot types, moves, story line and shot
sequencing.
COURSE LAYOUT
|
Upon completing this program, the student should be able to:
Certification counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver
rating.
Number
of Dives: 3
You complete Knowledge Development on your own, reading the course
manual and watching the corresponding section of the video. You briefly review what you studied with your
instructor and take a final written exam that make sure you’ve got all the key
concepts and ideas down.

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
|
Complete SCUBA
Including: Fins/Mask/Snorkel; Compressed
Gas Cylinder and Valve; Buoyancy Control Device (BCD) with Low Pressure
Inflator; Regulator and Alternate Air Source; Submersible Pressure Gauge
(Monitoring Device); Depth Gauge (Monitoring Device); Weight System and
Weights; Adequate Exposure Protection for Diving Conditions; At least 1 Audible
Emergency Surface Signalling Device.
Student must have own Video
equipment.
