COURSE PREREQUISITES
|
PADI Open
Water Diver certification or equivalent. Minimum of 15
years old.
Students may be required to
provide Dive Log Book detailing dive experience in the following areas:

In the Search and Recovery
Diver Specialty course, divers learn search and recovery dive planning, organization,
procedures, techniques and how to deal with potential problems. You learn how
to locate large and small objects using search patterns, and various ways for
lifting them to the surface.
COURSE LAYOUT
|
Number of Dives: 4
You complete Knowledge
Development on your own, reading the course manual and watching the
corresponding section of the video. You
briefly review what you studied with your instructor and take a final written
exam that make sure you’ve got all the key concepts and ideas down.

PADI Search and Recovery Specialty Certification card.

student discount on purchase of any new equipment during the course and for 30
days after the course.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
|
Complete SCUBA
Including: Fins/Mask/Snorkel; Compressed
Gas Cylinder and Valve; Buoyancy Control Device (BCD) with Low Pressure
Inflator; Regulator and Alternate Air Source; Submersible Pressure Gauge
(Monitoring Device); Depth Gauge (Monitoring Device); Weight System and
Weights; Adequate Exposure Protection for Diving Conditions; At least 1 Audible
Emergency Surface Signalling Device.
