COURSE PREREQUISITES
|
PADI Open Water
Diver certification, Junior Open Water certification or equivalent.
Minimum of 12 years old.
Students may be required to
provide Dive Log Book detailing dive experience.
SKILLS
|
In the Multilevel Diver
Specialty Course divers will learn how to plan dives that extend your bottom
time by crediting you for slower nitrogen absorption when you ascend to a
shallower depth. Designed
to be an introduction to multilevel diving and to help the student develop the
skills, knowledge, and techniques necessary for multilevel diving.
COURSE LAYOUT

Number of Dives: 2
You complete Knowledge
Development on your own, reading the course manual and watching the
corresponding section of the video. You briefly
review what you studied with your instructor and take a final written exam that
make sure you’ve got all the key concepts and ideas down.

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
|
Complete SCUBA
Including: Fins/Mask/Snorkel; Compressed
Gas Cylinder and Valve; Buoyancy Control Device (BCD) with Low Pressure Inflator;
Regulator and Alternate Air Source; Submersible Pressure Gauge (Monitoring
Device); Depth Gauge (Monitoring Device); Weight System and Weights; Adequate
Exposure Protection for Diving Conditions; At least 1 Audible Emergency Surface
Signalling Device.
