COURSE PREREQUISITES
|

PADI Open
Water Diver certification, Junior Open Water certification or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years old. Students may be required to provide Dive Log
Book detailing dive experience.
SKILLS
|
In the Dry Suit Specialty
Course divers will learn the skills, knowledge, planning, organization,
procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of diving with a dry
suit.
COURSE LAYOUT
|
Number of Dives: 2
You complete Knowledge
Development on your own, reading the course manual and watching the
corresponding section of the video. You
briefly review what you studied with your instructor and take a final written
exam that make sure you’ve got all the key concepts and ideas down.

Course
Manual and/or DVD.
PADI Dry Suit Specialty Certification card.
10%
student discount on purchase of any new equipment during the course and for 30
days after the course.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
|
Complete SCUBA
Including: Fins/Mask/Snorkel; Compressed
Gas Cylinder and Valve; Buoyancy Control Device (BCD) with Low Pressure
Inflator; Regulator and Alternate Air Source; Submersible Pressure Gauge
(Monitoring Device); Depth Gauge (Monitoring Device); Weight System and Weights;
Adequate Exposure Protection for Diving Conditions; At least 1 Audible
Emergency Surface Signalling Device.
