PADI DRY SUIT DIVING SPECIALTY
	COURSE PREREQUISITES

PADI Open Water Diver certification, Junior Open Water certification or equivalent.

Minimum of 10 years old. Students may be required to provide Dive Log Book detailing dive experience.

SKILLS

In the Dry Suit Specialty Course divers will learn the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of diving with a dry suit. 

COURSE LAYOUT

• The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of fry suit diving.
• Proper procedures for buoyancy control.
• Ascent and descent technique training.
• Routing, user-level, preventative maintenance and performance checks on dry suits.
• ** Confined water session will be required if student has never worn a Drysuit.
• Certification counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

Number of Dives: 2

You complete Knowledge Development on your own, reading the course manual and watching the corresponding section of the video. You briefly review what you studied with your instructor and take a final written exam that make sure you’ve got all the key concepts and ideas down.

PADI Dry Suit Specialty Certification card.

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

Complete SCUBA Including: Fins/Mask/Snorkel; Compressed Gas Cylinder and Valve; Buoyancy Control Device (BCD) with Low Pressure Inflator; Regulator and Alternate Air Source; Submersible Pressure Gauge (Monitoring Device); Depth Gauge (Monitoring Device); Weight System and Weights; Adequate Exposure Protection for Diving Conditions; At least 1 Audible Emergency Surface Signalling Device.
