COURSE PREREQUISITES
|

Minimum
of 12 years old.
SKILLS
|
The purpose of the PADI DAN O2 Provider Specialty course is
to educate the diver with both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills
for recognizing and responding to possible decompression illnesses and dive
related injuries by providing emergency oxygen first aid while activating the
local emergency medical services and/or arranging for evacuation to the nearest
available medical facility.
COURSE LAYOUT

The DAN Oxygen Provider
Course consists of one evening of classroom training with hands-on learning.
You briefly review what
you study with your instructor and take an exam that makes sure you’ve got all
the key concepts and ideas down.
COURSE INCLUDES

Course Manual and/or DVD.
DAN Advanced Oxygen Provider card.

purchase of any new equipment during the course and for 30 days after the

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
|
No
dives are required, so you can take the DAN Oxygen Provider course any time of

Students must have current DAN O2 certification (within one
year).
SKILLS

This advanced-level program is designed to train existing
DAN Oxygen Providers to use the MTV-100 or a Bag Valve Mask while providing
care for a non-breathing injured diver.
